Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked Documentary Sponsorships

Executed as Graphic Designer at NBCUniversal Creative Partnership.

Details

To celebrate the Wicked global premiere, the behind-the-scene documentary was also released on NBC channel and Peacock to reveal the process behind the movie. Lexus, Target, and Xfinity were the sponsors for this special, and were introduced in a five-second video each, leading up to the documentary.

I worked closely with our Visual Effects Supervisor, and Creative Directors to come up with elements from the Wicked trailer that we can utilize to harmonize between client’s branding with the whimsical environment. The result were these beautiful short videos for our sponsors that truly capture the essence of Wicked universe, and serve as best intros into the documentary.
