This project has won a Gold Muse Award 2025 in Corporate Identity - Brand Identity category.
NBCUniversal Media Group is the collection of businesses within NBCUniversal designed to maximize on the profit-generating opportunities presented by NBCUniversal’s Studio & Entertainment Group.
Intentionally set apart from NBCU Studio & Entertainment group, a division that creates and promotes movies and television programming, NBCU Media Group consists of functions that identify and execute upon opportunities of revenue generation. Such functions include the Distribution of Content, Advertising, NBC Sports, Client Integrations into IP, Entertainment Parks etc.
Goals of the NBCUniversal Media Group Branding
NBCUniversal Media Group supports and monetizes the vast number of IP’s that fall within its ecosystem. Each network, movie studio, and platform exist as their own universe touting distinguished cultures. This branding system honors these unique voices while providing a visual system that represents not just the Media Group, but all its constituent departments.

The Logo
Logo Treatmeant - Network Application
Applying the abstraction of glass screens and logos across all of NBCUniversal’s network logos.
Logo Treatmeant - Divisions Application
Another priority of the Media Group branding system was to be able to represent all of its divisions in a cohesive manner.
This time inspired by the colors of the NBC peacock, each division was assigned a color from its six feathers. Each color was then applied as a gradient and paired with the logomark to construct this logo system.

Whether NBCU is announcing a holiday or spotlighting the talent behind both cameras and office desks, the Media Group logomark is there to highlight every single celebratory moment and its extraordinary people.
